Well, i've water cured buds and let them cure for 6 months before, and the smell comes right back, but its much lighter and very fragrant. I had some shiskaberry a while ago that cured until it smelled exactly like perfume, no skunky smell at all. Ofcourse the smoke was just as tasty. But yea, traditional slow curing does wonders for taste. I believe this process is actually more common with people who want to make their shitty weed taste better w/o sacrificing the high. -Rob
