LBH's "Round Table" lst tutorial

ok, this is a method of lst which is best instituted when you begin the grow using LBH's 4-way lst but it is not essential to begin that way, this can be used to tame those unruly sativas, to keep a plant short and wide, to increase inner growth or all of the above.

You are essentially mounting eye screws into the floor (if your grow room allows) or onto a circle of plywood/mdf thats about the size of a large pizza. The plant sits on this circle of wood.

Now, you simply tie down the branches to the eyehooks.

Question: What if i need to move or rotate the plant? I've gotta undo all those tie-downs and then re-do 'em once she's ready to go back in? My plants are trained to a similar shape by topping, training and supercropping. No hooks/eyes or knots required.

Also seems like it eats up some floor space. It's almost like a scrog without the screen.

@ricard0: when using plywood/mdf as suggested you could move the plant together with the wood.

Yup, just spin it or if you want to get real creative, you could add the caster assembly from a lazy susan to the underside. If your plant is immobile, like mine, it's very quick work to lift the 6-8 hooks, spin the plant and do what you need to do and then just hang the hooks back on the branches. Easy.

A "screenless scrog" is a good way to put it. This plant was vegged for 8 weeks, just switched over. If you manipulate it all through veg cycle, you can build it huge. I plan to fill a 4.5x4.5 screen with 1 plant, all bud. This plant here is just a bagseed plant, and a wirey one at that, but the Pineapple Express that is growing across from her has been topped so many times, we could see as many as 25-30 cola's. Either way, it will have 4 main colas, not 1.

yes, I''m a caregiving card holder. I have nothing to hide, I do it by the book and don't abuse the system. I'm allowed 24 plants and right now I'm growing 2 (Next grow is a sog where I will utilize all 24. I'll have Pineapple Express, Bubblegum, chemdog, the church, trainwreck,papaya and 2 MR Nice Black widow (the original white widow- I hope, still begging buddy for a few clones)
