Querkle Aero T5/HPS

Well, hello again all. Been gone for a while...my last run of snowreck and herrer was a success, so I slept for a few months .

Got a new thing going right now. The tek is based off of an aero tek published in high times that was good but not correct. After some corrections it is now up and running with 14 Querkle. For those who don't know Querkle is a Subcool/TGA strain. It is a hybrid of Purple Urkle and Space Queen.

For Veg Using Botanicare Nutrients.
Pure Blend Pro Grow 3-1.5-4
Liquid Karma .1-.1-.5
Cal Mag 2-0-0

For lighting, using a SunLeaves Pioneer IV Grow.
That is 4 grow-spectrum T5's.
216w usage.

The two larger plants in back are day 22 veg and the rest are day 12.
The larger ones were put in to test the system.
Started with a ppm of 1500 and yesterday moved to 2000.
PH is being kept at 5.7

The back two blew up and the tops got a little burned but everything is ok now. Moved up the light and will not see that problem again in the future.

Topped the larger plants yesterday. Querkle is an interesting strain as it seems to grow completely asymetrically.

In the flower stage the same structure is being built but I have questions about lighting. Would a 400hps on a light mover be ok, or should I go all out with a 600?

Thanks for following, and any comments are appreciated!

Re: Querkle Aero T5/HPS

you could definitely 100% get away with a 400 watt hps in there if its as big as it looks. I have 30/ 3gal under 2 400s. and before that i had 20 under there and theyre lovin it. Of course a 600 wouldnt be bad at all but in a little space like that your probly gonna want to keep it as cool as possible and a 400 would be cooler than a 600. How big is that space?

Re: Querkle Aero T5/HPS

Also i forgot to ask how you like that querkle, if youve grown it out yet? I just picked up a couple from the Blue sky cafe in Oakland. Supposed to be right from Oakserdam's nursery so it should be the same...
