It is helpful seeing your grow and listening to constructional advise like yours. I saved you to my friends list and will be picking your brain later on. Thanks.

well, it's an arguable point and the variables matter; strain, conditions, grower's time, attention , knowledge and creativity are just a few

Although the yield will be smaller per plant (I think we can all agree on that), you may be able to get 2 grows in during the same time frame to grow 4 full plants. With the sog, you also plant many more plants as smaller pots can be used taking up less space. So if the grower has his/her shit together with the next batch all sprouted and ready to go, a SOG grow can put out as much as a full grow and in some cases more. Depends on the variables

I do believe you can achieve much more utilizing this technique if you were to upgrade your lighting system. I'm all for the do it yourself projects as I have also built my own DWC and C loner, but as far as lights I'm going to come out of pocket along with an air scrubber. What do you think? A 600hps would definitely increase your yield.

I would not recomend this at all.

Plants release growth inhibitors from their roots that stunt plants growing right next to them, you'll end up with 1-2 dominant plants, and the others will become runts; you will not get even growth on all 4 plants (except in a BB?)

1 plant per pot.

What's a BB ?

What if the dividers were completely sealed so each segment was essentially it's own pot?

HPS over CFL is a given, I'm restricted here though. My house was built in 1865 and if the cooling system ever failed, I'd come home to ashes with an HPS system, not acceptable. I'll be growing elsewhere in the future and those will all be HPS systems
