Ok i will post per gallon that way you can just multiply
by the amount of gallons in your res(s).

Nute Quantities per gallon is in ML per gallon
so if your res is 30 multiply number by 30.

Week 8 and 9 should be flushing with ph balanced water
no nutes.

Hope to have helped.

Hey Dier, thanks for the help thus far. I have one 10 gallon dwc container and two 30 gallon dwc bubblers as well. What should the ppm look like, that is my main concern, and how do I go about adding the nutes? I heard I shouldn't add them into the res with the plants directly. Those are my main questions. I already have charts ; ) I just want to know the numbers I need to be looking at now. Anyone? Thanks.

Ponics.

first set of solutions should be between 600-800 you needent worry about those ppm numbers as long as you follow the schedule provided by GH.

your main concern is sticking to the schedule and keeping your PH correct. nothing else except adequate lighting.

ABSOLUTELY NO! DO not purchase that. That is by far the worst looking ready made kit I have ever seen!! 125 watts isn't crap man! You need at least 400 for a decent grow. 4 plants for a 5 gal?! No way, most would recommend that you dedicate 5 gallons per plant. $179!!?! Insane! They are probabbly making $160 off of that kit! Build your own for 40 bucks or less. A total rip off. The only thing that $40 doesn't include is lighting which will run you from $100 for a decent lighting system all the way to $500 or more for superior quality. Good luck man ; )

Ponics.

Lowering pH

I'm using tap water for my DWC buckets and letting them sit overnight to get rid of excess chlorine. But, my pH is around 7.5 and unfortunately I don't know of any hydro shop around here. I've checked out local stores that have garden sections but no pH up or down stuff. The only thing I can think of is using vinegar. I believe it has a pH of 3ish. Would it be safe for the plant or should I keep looking around?

HIGH All, sorry senior_ganj...To bring the pH down you can add distilled white vinegar..one teaspoon for each 20 gallons....this is just a quick help. It's best to see if you can find some pH down...try a Aquarium store or pet store..where ever they sell fish they should sell pH up and down.

Thanks unoit, I ended up adding the vinegar yesterday and my baby is looking fine. By the time I added it my pH was up around eight and I believe my plant was locking out the nutrients, so there was sign of defencies on the leaves. Now, it has stopped and she perked right back up within the day.

Im planning on doing a 5 gallon hydro bucket grow, and had a few questions...

1. At what period do I take the geo cube with my baby in it, and actualy put the thing in my grow net in the bucket? And when I do, do I immidiately throw the bubbler on, and do I use nutes, or just plain water at first?

2. Where should my water levels be threwout the grow? From sprout, and in veg, and in flowering, what should the water levels be?

3. As far as changing nutes, and flushing the plant, how often should I renew my nutes, and how often do I flush with clean water? Also, what is topping off? Im assuming its adding water to maintain water levels, right? If thats the case do I topp off with clean water, or with teh same nutrient solution thats already in teh bucket?

4. and finally... When I switch from sprout nutes, to veg nutes, to flower nutes, do I let the system run with clean water for a few days or something? Then switch the nutes? or do I simply run clean water to clean the bucket out, then add new nutes.

5. Also are there any tips anyone has on things i should NEVER DO, or things i should ALWAYS DO, that arnt that ovious, or that are ovious and im just stupid haha.

Any suggestions help, THANKS!!!
