You're talking about your entire grow right? Cuz PVC is fairly cheap, and it wouldn't take 400$ let alone 2000$ to build that system.

+rep dude. I've been looking for a compact hydro solution for my new box, and I think this just might be it, scaled down to 2 plants. Could you get a picture of what your root space looks like tho? Definitly keep us updated on that

The eco-plus pump retails for $350, leaves me $50 for the rest?

Any alternatives?

alternative would be a less expensive pump. He even said the one he bought was overkill. For this setup, a much smaller pump would do just fine.

Naa naa.. the pump i got was about 50$ i think..Just get a reliable pump that matches the right gph..

I should post up a pic of my newest system. I used 6" PVC with removal end caps for easy cleaning. It came out real nice. But damn it was a bitch to build and quite expensive... I think it would be my last diy aero..

The only reason why i decided to build these is because of the dimensions of the room its going in.. The store bought ones like the aeroflo2 wouldnt fit right

I was reading this and just thinking that 6" might be cool. I have seen pix where they use 12' and the roots hang. I saw one where they had a fogger hooked up to it. Great job, Good DIY! Post more pix if you can.
