DWC Temps

I have read well up on all subjects pertaining to deep water culture, and have my rumplebucket (i thought i made that up, then saw someone else said it in another thread) and I've read through all the threads again, but cant find any info on the temp range for theese buckets, other than like 85 is too hot. My bucket's temp is around 65-70, and i just wanna know if i need a heater for my water.

hey, thanks man, i was beginning to think no one would help me...

I finally found an article that told me to keep the temps between 68 and 71, whick seems to work out with what you said.

any other opinions are helpful, even just another comformation of this would be nice!

67-71 degrees is what you should shoot for temps wise for your res

much higher than that will breed algae

and cooler water retains more oxygen than warm water does

doob3r is your res THAT warm?

I think that if it feels tepid you're in trouble, I like mine to feel cool if not chilly to the touch and as an average it's at about 69 degrees
