Just to be sure
hey everyone, i've grown before in soil, and I want to try my hand at hydro heres my plan, tell me what i'm gonna screw up.
1 5gal DWC bubble bucket (Rumpleforeskin style) with
-2 3" air stones
-1 dual outlet pump
-1 drain valve
-1 fluid level indicator
-1 5" basket w/ hydroton
I have purchaced ph up and ph down
I have selected BC Boost and BC Bloom to use with the lucas formula with RO water
I will be purchacing a TDS and a PH meter before I plant anything
I have a 170watt MH and two 23W 5500k cfl's to veg under
i have 1 400w hps to flower (but this one will never see it because she's gonna be a mom!)
I have a 10" fan for stem strength, and a small exhaust fan, which is only there for fresh air because it stays near 75-80F lights on and 65-75F lights off
I'm in a house that smalls like pot all the time, so smell isint too much of an issue.
I am planning on growing a mother from a clone, to get me used to hydroponics. If i find that I like it better than soil, I have space for about 6 or 8 of theese buckets, which I plan to link together and drain and refill all at once with a pump.
so, with that all stated, tell me if you see any flaws.
-do I need anything else?
-does anyone have exp. with BC nutes w/ lucas?
-any advice on starting this up before i do?
