Partial Branch Breeding

I currently wish to breed a certain strain of plants, and up until now I usually just pollenate as much of the female as possible. But I wanted to try partially pollenating a female, just 1 branch, and the way I've seen this done is pollen is collected in a bag then that bag is carefully hanged and tied around a female branch for 2-3 days then carefully removed. My question is, is can the rest of the female plant continue producing its buds after the plant has been pollenated at any part? Or does the plant sieze to produce THC after even only being partially pollenated? Any help would be great, thanks!

Pollenating one section of plant will have no effect on the rest of the plant.

Shaking the bag around would help get more seeds, too.

i think i've also read about people just brushing on pollen to specific areas with a nice little paint brush, so you get it just where you want it.

Yes that is a active practice many breeders use.

yeah thats what i thought but i wasn't positive, thanks for confirming that bud.

i've never been into the whole breeding thing, or even using seeds that often for that matter. i just stick to clones, so i know what to expect out of that plant, because it's exactly the same as the mother it came from.
