Video File Topping + LST results

I'm currently experimenting with topping and LSTing a plant and I'm telling ya - this method really is magic This is a revegged AK48. The last two pics are 2 weeks or something in flowering (not really counting)

She looks really healthy and looks like she'll be a good bud producer. I love topping my plants so that they will grow 2 stems instead of one, but it does slow down the growth of the part where it was topped. I haven't tried LST but i'm guessing that it works by allowing the plant to absorb more light because the stems are pulled out away from each other. What is that you tied it down with? It looks like the baloon ribbon stuff, which from my experience has given me paper cuts before so i'd reccomend using something that could be safer for the plants, but it's your grow and again, she looks great!

Thanks man! If you're going to lst a plant I recommend topping the plants A LOT. I've done it 5 or 6 times to this plant and you see the results. No slow growth either at least that I've observed. The idea of lst is better light penetration and a more even canopy. What's best about it is that you decide which growth goes where. Don't worry about what you're tying your plant with. Trust me - she can take it And yes that is the balloon ribbon stuff

Nice looking plants man. Have you tried SOG was inbetween on which 1 i wanted to do first LST, SCROG, or SOG. I decided on SOG because of less veg time and there for i hrvet more often. But i think i am going to try a LST on my outdoor grow. Because i am confined horizontaly indoors because of my grow cabinet but outside LST should be great.

Thanks. This is only one plant though LST is da shit man. You should definitely give it a try. I've tried SOG but using seeds (not clones) so it wasn't true SOG. when i DO get my new growbox i'll be starting a perpetual grow SOG style

I use topping and LST all the time now as I see no other reason to grow in any other manner as it seems to really allow the plant to produce quality at the most quantity that the plant is capable of given that you have the proper pot size to support it.

nice lst,

and topping is also good for stopping vertical growth for a little while and letting them bush out really nice.

good job with the topping and LST!

I top all of my plants and have been debating whether or not to start LST on at least one of them.

Enjoy your buds bro!
