CBD cannabidiol, and a few questions.

My questions:

#1
How is CBD produced? (if CBN is created by THC breaking down and oxadizing over time)

#2 So then how would grow in order to have a high CBD:THC ratio?

I have done a fair amount of reading on CBD CBN and THC, in short its not that im new to growing ect. its just 2 things that i dont really quite understand so please no nasty replys.

I pretty sure they are separate things that has to do with genetics, not so much growing technique. Like ive heard of ssh having high thc ratio to cbn. And theres even a chart with the cbn and thc levels that came back from lab tests on plants.

THC degrades to CBD, this can be seen as amber trichs on the plant. So by harvesting as late as possible more THC will degrade to CBD. The only other ways I know of will destroy the quality of your bud, so I won't even talk about them. Also Indica's contain more CBD/CBN then satvia's which you probably already know. So best bet would be to harvest an indica as late as you can for the best CBD/CBN:THC ratio.

Seasonal changes observed in cannabinoids indicate CBD is transformed to delta-9-THC to CBN. Data suggest that stress may influence cannabinoid production and bivalent ions may regulate enzyme systems responsible for cannabinoid synthesis.
Seasonal variability of cannabinoids in plants was observed in Riley County. Potential cannabinoid content of marijuana appears to be genetically controlled, but the level of expression may be regulated by environmental factors regulating plant growth and development. Marijuana growing wild in Kansas is low in potency. Midwestern marijuana, descended from varieties cultivated for fiber and cannabinoid level, apparently has remained unchanged by natural selection.

found this for ya bud, hope it helps ya,
all the best M

ps; excellent question mate a real noodle scratcher

sorry but that is dead wrong

THC degrades to CBN
TCH DOES NOT degrade to CBD.

And your slight bit of copy paste motorheed seems to basicly say that its agreeing with what slowbro said as in it has to do with genetics, Yet it has more info on seasonal weather climent factors (as we the growers can minupulate).

So if some of it has to do with genetics and some of it we can controll mimicing climent. what type of climent do we have to mimic?

Light timings? addatives to soil? harvest times?

anyone with some knowhow on this topic please help out

TCH DOES NOT degrade to CBD.Sorry your wrong, thc degrades to both cbd & cbn
trichs which turn yellow/amber is a sign that the thc ,which is 90%-95% of the trichomes ,is starting to degrade to less psychoative byproducts=CBD & CBN
(no copying or pasting here sonjust FACT!......)

And your slight bit of copy paste motorheed seems to basicly say that its agreeing with what slowbro said as in it has to do with genetics, Yet it has more info on seasonal weather climent factors (as we the growers can minupulate) curious what you've grown, can you enlighting us please, thanks.

So if some of it has to do with genetics and some of it we can controll mimicing climent. what type of climent do we have to mimic?as a grower you ask what type of climate(not climent) we have to mimic, lol

Light timings? addatives to soil? harvest times? ;you should know the answers for such fundamental questions, being a grower that is!........lmao

anyone with some knowhow on this topic please help out
