Thanks, I tried that with no luck. That's why I posted here, hoping someone knew of one.

I can't imagine a city as progressive as Hotlanta wouldn't have garden centers that sell hydroponic supplies.

To the OP, this interweb thing provides a wealth of information. thank goodness Al invented it.

While we're talking about hydro shops in Atlanta, read this: http://atlanta.creativeloafing.com/g...id=oid%3A10762

Quote:
In the spring of 1994, the Tucker family received lengthy prison sentences -- 10 years for Steve, 16 years for his older brother Gary, and 10 years for his brother's wife, Joanne -- without possibility of parole, for the curiously worded federal crime of "conspiracy to manufacture marijuana."

Yet federal prosecutors never charged them with buying, selling, growing, transporting, smoking or even possessing marijuana. An 18-month DEA investigation had failed to turn up direct evidence connecting the Tuckers to even a single joint.

Instead, they were locked away for selling the lamps, fertilizer and gardening hardware from the small hydroponic supply shop Gary operated on Buford Highway that enabled their customers to grow pot.
Maybe that's why there's so few grow shops in Atl today?

Holy Crap Batman! And I have been considering Georgia as a possible place to relocate. MMMMaybe not.
Although that was in 1994, Georgia has not been known as being overly progressive. Even during the days of the strip.

Atlantis Hydroponics, they have 2 shops in the Atlanta area and one in Athens. Not a bad place either. Fairly reasonable prices and good selection, also the staff is quite helpful (the one north of downtown anyway as that is the only one I've been to.)
