Not too much to ask man, not at all.

Im no expert, but I would cut as early as I could, and take cuts with as little buds as u can. Not sure how late is too late, I would think its probably possible at any stage but it might just take longer for the plant to switch back to veg?? maybe not. Either way both times I took cuts from flowering plants it took them a while to get back to veg.

Check my 2nd grow, towards the end are some shots of the swazi reveg. Its about 3 inches tall and I took the cut over a month ago lol.

HTH and ask away. Forums are for sharing knowledge

thanks bro, the more you talk about it the more confindence i have.

He said taking clones after the flowering stage? im not really sure hes kind of a
" self proclaimed " know it all and i have to listen to his B.S all the dam time, but hes the only one i know right now with some grow. Im hoping i can just get some cloners from him instead of the whole plant. but his plants have been probally been flowering about 2-3 weeks id say he started them i think 3-4 months ago sure exactly and i would have to wait at least 3 more weeks till i move to actually get them and grow them.
do you think it would be better to then put them in a small hydro set up or soil?

U could reveg it after he buds it, but hed have to leave some matter on the plant and ud have to get it from him and have to wait till he flowers.

I would take cuts now and start the process. take like 7 so u know u get a good one.

I would root them in Rapid Rooters then keep moms in soil. Not sure what ur op is, but if u have hydro u might want to implement that after

hey I am one of those self proclaimed know it all's too

It's pointless to try to argue with somebody like that, the want to be right is always gonna get in the way

You can clone a flowering plant with or without buds on the cuts

I also used to believe clones off a vegging plant were easier though my last 2 rounds of cutting proved me wrong about that

grow and learn

Taking cuts off budding plants id only harder in the sense that it takes longer for them to root, u might have less success rate in rooting, and it takes them a minute to switch from budding to vegging.

It will make ur cut branchier as well then if u took it during veg.
