Scrog Week 7

I had 1 small 7 inch plant that wasnt doing so well but i put it under the SCROG at the beginning to get some buds anyway. And, well it definitely had a good start with 5 different tops but the heat got to 100 degrees on that specific spot of the scrog where there was no fan for 1-2 days. So The small plant got TOTALLY heat stressed and burnt from top to bottom. The plant is 50% purple and yellow burnt leaves and all limp.

But I am wondering if I should still flush it and grow it for another week or just pick it and smoke?
Can I cut the screen and take it off early to rotate plants and get different light angles?
