The reptile guys use uvb for their lizards.

Uvb lights are very expensive, and not going to increase the potential of your weed any noticeable amount.

Good genetics is the best way to make your weed better.

UVB supposedly increases the amount of resin produced, as the plant tries to shield itself from them.

i have used them before, but i honestly dont know if it helped.
On the forums i dont think ive come across any real evidence for this though. no pics,#s or anything.

i dont feel it is worth it. Add another 150 watter, that will definately help with growth

yeah but no. uvb does help. uvb is in natural sunlight. so why wouldnt it make it better than a narrow spectrum of light that we use? the problem maybe people arnt using enough. cause ive seen the differnece in nugs. super chrystaly and taste very...full? cant really describe.

Some of the more expensive bulbs have a higher uv spectrum.

If you want to add more spectrum, then run MH and HPS at the same time.

This is THE ULTIMATE VEGETATIVE GROWTH bulb available. It's "ultra-blue" 6500 Kelvin Daylight Spectrum is simply the BEST bulb for vegetative growth. Plants grow very lush very quickly using this bulbs enhanced spectrum. You can expect leaves to be so green they almost have a blue hue to them.
$59.95
