SCRoG-Strictly KUSH

WHat it do. After reading GreeenMOnsters article posted at the top of this section on the SCROG grow i decided to give it a whirl. After SEEING, with my own eyes- the advantages of the SCROG grow i can surely say i will never do another indoor grow in the normal fashion. The LST factor that the net provides makes for robust and strong growth that basically lasts untill about week 3-4 of flowering when i will stop pulling the branches back through the net.

The BASICS-
3 kush clones- 1 purple snowKush (snowcap/purpKush) 2 B-Real Kush ( Kush/BigBud)
obtained from a dispencery in LA

ALL Fox Farm- Ocean forest mixed 1/2 with Light Warrior- Nutes- Big bloom, Tiger bloom, grow big, open sesame, beastie bloomz, cha-ching.

2 gallon grow bags Jimmy rigged on a shelf deal that allows the water to runnoff into the container below.

Stats- hovering around 80 degrees in the day a little lower at night- humidity around 55-60% constantly.

Timing- just turned these girls 12/12 last night. The screen is about 75 percent full and all three plants have atleast 10-15 differnt flowers that made it to the screen. I will wait one more week to see which ones wont get to the canopy then take clones (first time ever) and see where it goes from there.

Alright. Enjoy. I sure AM. PEace

fo sho

ya man- i am rather thechnically challenged so my skills with this camera and the program are limited. I will see what i can do.

Just returned from Turkey DAY. Plants Look CHRON- most leaves on the B REAL KUSH are now showing 9 leafes- the PURple Snow Kush is starting to shoot out some strigny white hairs. All is Well- little dry though. Time 2 hydrate son.

- Counted the individual flowers today that are all basically at the same level- give or take an inch, and are receiving direct light... Over 60 now. Avg. 20 a plant w/ the purp leading at 26

PICS-
1-room
2-purp
3-room
4- b-real

Hey i am using that soil and open sesame, beastie bloomz, and chaching. Dude that opensesame makes them things start flowering so amazingly fast. And this stuff is SUPER strong (all 3 are) it only takes like 1/2 TEAspoon per gallon. And isnt that ocean forest just the best soil ever? Its so dark and rich and fluffy. Amazing stuff. Good looking plants you got there.

Edit: Oh, since you are starting 12/12 you want your humidity to be around 35-40. Keep it super duper low while flowering. Later!

ya bro this grow is an exact replica of what my two homies ran last year that i got to be around and help out with from day one. TheONLY thing i changed was just mixing that ocean forest 1/2 with FF light warrior- just allows better drainage, less salt build up, and air flow to the roots. SUPER strong nutes- i didnt start mixing the suggested amount of nutes till like late week three veg. Ya lower humidity? fo sho, any suggestions? im barely hittin day 7 flower. PEace

Yeah, during flower you want you humidity to stay in the 30s and 40s. This helps reduce the risk of botrytis (sp?) aka root rot. It also makes the plants produce more trichomes cause its the plants natural way of locking in moisture.

You can use a DEhumidifier or they make stuff, i forget what its called, but it draws moisture out of the room. But if its too high and its a decent size room you are going to want a DEhumidifier

Yeah dude, dont freak out if the humidity gets a little high. When it rains outside its going to go up. But you arent going to get bud rot because of that. As long as you have good airflow in your room. Unless the room is very well sealed and insulated and climate controled, then the humidity will go up when it rains. Just keep in in the 30s and 40s whenever possible. Bud rot isnt really a problem unless you dont have air moving around and high humidity. Dont worry dude. I mean look at your plants. They look AMAZING. Plants will tell you whats going on. They are the best way to know whether you are doing a good job or not. Just pay attention to them and give them what they need. Good luck and ill be sure to watch this one to the end

for one thing botrytis is not root rot, ( google it), its a fungus that atacks all parts of the plant that are abovegound. how in the hell are you going to say that high humidity is going to affect a part of the plant that spends it time in the moist wet ground. warm resivour water temp causes root rot. and as long as you have a fan blowing and your temps are in the 70's and your humidity is under 60 your fine.........peace
