Home made Hydro Aero System...Cheap and works like a charm!

Well i have been growing for about 6 years and have finally got the total system that i want to be able to smoke fo free!

I purchased a system for my first grow and it was a flood and drain system that didnt work too well. Plants got big and no support = me walking in on plants that were tipped over...

I sold the entire system and started from scratch. I was going to build my own system from common parts from home depot and wally world.

Here is the rundown of parts and prices that i used when i built this 2 years ago.

1 huge rubbermaid storage container. I think its a 25 gallon but not totally sure = $15

1 Raindrip drip system from home depot = $25

1 box of mini sprinkler heads for the drip system = $5

1 bag of zip ties = $2

5 - 6" drain vents for pvc piping = $6 each
^^^^^this step will depend on how many plants your growing

1 Garden pond pump. i got the 325 GPH so i can expand this system later = $50

That is all the supplies you need to buy from the wal and homodepot.
I had a dremel to drill the holes and to cut the big holes for the pots but i am sure there are other methods out there for doing this.

Total for this project is $133 dollars and here is my finished product

yeah have you tested it? (im sure you have)

I tryed a 600GPH pump on 4 nossles and couldnt get the system to put out enough pressure

I too am interested in the functionality of the pump but the OP built it 2 years before they posted it so I imagine it worked well enough. They also posted it back in Nov so I'm not exactly expecting a prompt reply but some more info would be great.
