Humidity

I'm 3 weeks into flower and been having humidity in the upper 60%s. I'm running and air cooled 1000 watt light. Before i added the exhaust fan temps were in the upper 80's after the fan they dropped to the lower 70's. I recently put added a dehumidfier and now the temps are back in the 80's but the humidty is now around 43%. i Guess is there a way to combat the humidty w/o the heat of the dehumidfier or is the heat o.k. or high humity o.k? Any help or suggestions would help thanks.

I'm willing to bet lower humidity will produce stickier buds than lower temperature. Did you mean the temps fell back into the high 80s after you added the dehumidifier?

Anyone else have any ideas?

Stick with the less humidity especially in flowering, in some of my stealth grows I had temps similar to yours with higher humidity and Im not sure how bad it hurt my plants, or if it even did.

I have a muchbetter setup now with eroponisc so I will see once i get these into flowering.

ya the temps fell back to the high 80's after the addtion of the dehumidfier. I will leave it for now. I only have a 449 cfm Vortex on the light. Will adding anohter to exhaust the room and another intake vent work? Thanks for your replys.

A picture of your growspace will help us clear up your heat issues.

The best humidity for flowering is 40% - 60% veg 60% - 70% clones that are trying to root 80% - 95% Ideal temperature is 72 - 76 above 85 slows growth. This can all be found in Marijuana Horticulture by Jorge Cervantes(Look at High Times website he has a grow section) 24.95 at barnes and nobles on page 332 - 335.
