H2O2 in the soil?

Can someone shed some light on the subject here. I have read over n over to mix "X amount" hydrogen peroxide in with the water to provide O2 to the roots. I grow in soil and am curious about how much do you add. I have read 3% and 10%...hgell I have heard it all. Would someone that has used this before with some experiance give me your thoughts...

Also 1 other question....I use Piranah and Tarantula with VooDoo juice and the piranah and tarantula provide benificial bacterial and other organisms to help build healthy root systems....If Hydrogen Peroxide Kills bacteria - would I not be countering the effects of each other by useing it?

Yes I used the search button after looking for a loooong time for it on my keyboard.

I wouldn't use it unless theres a need to.if your using soil with all those benificials then peroxide will kill most of them off.as longh as the soil has good ariation theres realy no need.but heres a link on mixing instructions http://marijuana-ro.com/cms/index.ph...rogen-peroxide

Thanks alot bc...I was thinking it was more for hydroponic use but I use soil. Lots of times lately the top of my soil becomes hard as a rock but the middle and bottom usually stays moist a day after I water and I know the plants dont drink that much.. It makes it hard to know when to feed and lately I have had slowed growth on some plants due to not being able to know when to feed. I figured adding H2O2 to the soil might help. I use 1/3 perilite to my soil with earthworm castings ,bone meal and blood meal. I usually always happens around time to put into flowering. That is when I notice it starts hardening up.It has just lately started to become a problem- Any Idea's

hmm if its not the top of the root mat making it hard try breaking up the top 1-2 inchs of your soil and adding alittle perlite and vermiculite.mix it well, then after every watering when the soil has firmed up again aerate the top two inchs with your fingers..if it is the top of the root mat try mulching a two inch layer of mulch.be sure to sterilize the mulch you use.the benificials will go to town on the mulch adding some extra nutrients.also check out the soil section at the site I gave you. There is some wonderful info therel.good luck!!

H202 in soil is deadly, its pretty much for hydro use only. Even then a lot of ppl only use it as a last resort to help with root rot. If your res/bucket temps are under control, and no light leaks, you probably will never even need it.

O2 to the roots should be provided in hydro via airstones or air pumps. o2 in soil is from the soil drying out.
