You've got a nice operation going there man, I've got a question to ask you though

which strains do you find give the best yield when grown like this??

Would the single 1000w light still work for two trays that are roughly 4x4?
or would the plants on the edges not get enough light.
since the trays are bigger there would obviously be more plants.

If that is too much of a stretch for the 1000w would a 600w over each tray perform just as well?

Im curious about this too but i think 1000 watt= 8x8 feet so technically, you could.

I was thinking about getting 2 3x3s under a 1000 watt but lets wait for the pros..

600w over each tray would be ideal as stated on the previous page.

Im lost how do you get the clones when you skip vegging?They say not to take clones from a flowering plant.

So would this way work, take clones from flowering plants put it in a veg room till it gets roots. Than take the clone with roots and put it in a flower room? Than take clones from the flowering plants over and over in that process.

Cant really explain it right now. hehe

i'm so pissed, I've been asking everyone for info on a grow to harvest every two weeks and nobody really answered me. Someone could of gave me a link to this thread.... I'm so upset with you ppl its not even funny

Ive gotta subscribe to this thread , looks like my attempt that failed so i put them all outside and recovered a small harvest , time to retry the idea

I was thinking of having four flowering rooms(of course), with 250 watt hps in each room. then a bunch of cfl's for moms and clones. Found some cabinets at homedepot (35WX18DX75H), keep a shelf in the middle and i could have two rooms in each cabinet. So 3 cabinets i could have 6 small rooms (4 flower, 1 mom, 1 clone). Should be able to get 4 or so oz every two weeks, but i duno, haven't done it yet, just plans.

YEA GREAT EXPLANATION MAN. i've been growing with the SOG method for about 4 months and i love it. i have 2 grow spaces, a flowering area and a veg area both with 4 total growth stages in each, im harvesting 10 plants every 2 weeks. its a very good way to get consistant yields. you get alot of control with a flood and drain system using the SOG method. any thoughts or comments?
