Twisting or Spinning for Strength?

This is just something that I've been doing, and i'm not sure if it's actually working in a good or bad manner?

I had a male plant that I was messing with prior to flower. I purposely pulled it's branches down until I felt them tear slightly and then those branches took off and became the strongest of the plant.

What I've been doing now is slowly twisting and spinning some of the branches to see if this will promote stronger tighter growth to support heavy buds.

Is this producing scar tissue that is bad? or just strengthening the branches by means of rebuilding the branches internally?

Just a little toss up to see what everyone else thought?

The only danger I could see would be stressing the plant too much, causing it to hermie.

Think about it when you work out, lift weights, you rip though muscle tissue and new, stonger muscle tissue comes in to replace it. At the same time you try to lift your suv off of a dying duck, and you rip your arms out of the socket. You dont get stronger from that you get broken.

So yes it is good, but only when done in moderation, like everything else.

Word!

Thanks for the feedback. Was hoping I wasn't stressing too much and didn't know if anyone else has done it?

Do a little reading on super cropping, I think you'll find a better/safer way of ceating stronger branches and bigger buds.
