hydroponics grow, hps, 1 week into flowering PICS AND QUESTIONS
250 watt hps
hydroponic system watered 3 times a day fox farm nute plan one plant is a clone from last grow, 6 other new plants, waiting to see if they are male or female, the foliage of the leaves are huge, they cover an entire dvd case, i was wondering if it would do a lot of harm if i cut these leaves off how do you cut them off? i heard if you do it the wrong way your plant will stretch a lot and grow real tall what major damage am i doing to my plants if i do cut these leaves off? im going to transplant the pots once i figure out which ones are male and which are female, right now they are in like 4" pots and they will be going to 8" or 10" pots i dont remember

my buddy has the same hydro setup except that it is the square meter version. after a few grows with lots root algae we built a piece of plywood with holes in it to fit the pots. works like a charm.

water feed
how long does the water feed them on each cycle?
3 times a day for what.... 25 or 20 minutes each time?

aero you dont have a pic of that do you?
i was gonna get the 3ft by 3ft one but it was too big for the space im working with so i have the 2 by 2 water feeds em 3 times a day for 30 minutes each i believe, i dont have a digital or minute timer just a daily timer with notches

no sorry dj no pics. but it is just a piece of 1/2 inch plywood cut to fit in to the little lip on reservoir. we used a 6 inch hole since he had 6-inch pots and we had a lot of holes to cut. you could do the same thing with cardboard or anything else its just important to keep light out of your roots and water.
