hps light
How bad is it to just use a 1000 watt hps from sprout to bud on hydro system. I did buy a metal halide conversion bulb from a company but they screwed up and never sent it.

It's not "bad". MH is definitely better for vegging, but HPS will work, so long as you keep it a good distance from the seedlings.

If you paid for the conversion bulb and they never sent it, why not just get them to send you the bulb? If you dont bring it up, they wont know to fix it. Get your bulb!

you are prolly gonna wanna keep that thing like 3+ feet away from the seedlings to keep it from hurting em. get the MH if you can tho, like it was said above if you dont tell the company the wont know.
