Help me with my Supercloset.....

Alright guys and girls, give me some pointers on my new toy. Everyone can skip the I told you sos, and the talk about my new cab being a waste of money, cause I'm kind of feeling the same way right now. I had some extra cash kicking around, and I wanted to get started with a little hydro grow, so I purchased this thing. It's seems very well built, and I know that I have all the necessities (sp?) here for my grow, but I need some tips from the vets to start me off on the right foot. The directions, and "instructional DVD" for this thing are shit, in fact the DVD is for a whole other system...lol.
(Pic 1) A front shot of the cabinet (closed)
(Pic 2) Closet (open)
(Pic 3) Starter Dome (at least thats what I'm calling it)
(Pic 4) Rockwool Cubes in the dome
(Pic 5) Reservoir and Drip system setup
Now...the left side of the cabinet is the veg side. Up top there are 4 T5 flouros that you can't see in the pic. I dropped 12 beans into the conditioned rockwool cubes, that are currently sitting atop a heating pad under the dome till they sprout. When I take off the lid I should be able to get them close enough to the flouros to veg for a couple weeks. While there up there, should I put some water in the bottom of the tray with the cubes, or just mist them when needed?
Thats the biggest question I have to get me through the next couple weeks...When the roots pop out of the 1" cubes I hae 3" ones for them to go into.
My other questions are pretty much just about setting up the reservoir. Theres a water pump inside of it that I'll hook up to a timer, and an air pump to pump air into the water. I'm planning on filling the net pots almost full of hydrotons, and pretty much resting 3" rockwool cubes on top of them. From the posts I've read around the city, you want the drips to be going into the hydrtons around the rockwool not the rockwool itself, correct? Anyways I know all this is kind of confusing, and sparatic, but I need to cut this short cause the wifey is wining in the other room. She just doesn't have the same affection towards GC as I do I guess.....oh well.
As usual all responses of any kind will be very appreciated. I'd hate to have spent all that cash and just have to gut it for another soil grow. Thanks in advance.....and to all a good night!

if you can't produce with that, then you should just buy your weed. in cubes, i like to pick them up and spray them pretty good with a spray bottle. no soaking, just so you know it won't dry up. don't forget the bottom. i'd make a little hole to put the cube into the hydrton. no too deep. make the top of the cube level (or a little below) with the top of the pebbles.

I like to mist mine when needed, making sure the cube never gets completely dry. What's the humidity where the rockwool cubes are sitting? The higher the humidity the faster/better your seedlings will grow. You also won't have to spray them very often if the humidity is high since it won't evaporate into nothingness.

That's a sweet little cab you've got there. While you could've built one yourself for probably a 1/10th of what you spent, you do have all the necessities to have a great grow. Good luck with it

Growbot thanks for the response. I was looking for input by growers such as yourself on this matter. So instead of putting the 1" cubes into the 3 " cubes first, I should just bury the 1"s in the pebbles? Then just set up the drips to go down through the hydrton?
And Sth, thank you as well. Haha I realize it could have been built for a lot cheaper, but this time I took the lazy way out. Thats why I put the, no "I told you so clause" in the original post. Anyways in the little dome right now the temp is 82 degrees and the humidity is at 53%. I checked on the cubes this morning, and as you stated, they really did retain a lot more moisture than I expected.
If you guys have any more advice, post away. When the seedlings sprout, I'll get this baby up in the grow journals forum, I just need a little more direction first.
Thanks again guys........peace.
