Yes, it can work but it can also take quite awhile. From what I've heard +2wks is not uncommon.

Make sure you change the water everyday, ensuring fresh oxygenated water for the roots

i have tried it, it works but is painfull as you need to handle many pots, being carefull not to bump any plants out of their water.

goto rona or home depot, pick up a $3 bottle of root hormones. why not?

I got mine under just one 11 watt CFL and 24/0... im not sure if thats right i just cant be fucked to get another timer lol.

I have tried this numerous times and i'm very good in cloning and to me its a very slow and not so 100% method..

Takes way to frikken long and success rate sucks.

I use CloneX rooting hormone and potting soil in dixie cup in an aquarium, i put down 25 at a time and in 7 days all 25 are rooted, on day 10 the roots are out the bottom of teh dixie cup holes i cut.

100% success rate Every time. Cant be waiting weeks for something to clone and then it doesnt thereby holding off my flowering by weeks because i have to wait to make sure the clones took.
