I use a homemade pvc pipe rectangle with holes drilled every 2 inches as the backbone.
Then basic white twine in a over under pattern creating a grid of 2 by 2 squares.
I like this because the twine can be cut during harvest, and i didnt glue the pvc so when i want to do a grow without it i can take it apart for easy storage and don't have a 2 by 3 rectangle taking up space in my room

Yes sir. 2"x2"
In the beginning it will seem like the holes are far to big, but when training starts to get a little crowded the tops need that much space from each other.
Also, i feel any smaller and i would come way to close to breaking stems.
larger would created "dead space" between the buds, you want em nice and cozy but not touching.
I have seen some nice scrogs with 2x3 holes, makes cute corn like rows sometimes :smoke:

this is me too. I have a 4 x 4 tent and I made my screen into 4 individual connecting 22" x 18" in case i need to remove a male, use only half or whatever. I also cut different size legs so I can grow in bigger or smaller pots, or for those long legged Sativas.

it's funny, i spent some good time and thought and several trips to home depot until i got it exactly how I liked it. Now that it's juuuuuuuust right I'm not scrogging this grow lol. I have 4 blueberries I wanted to just experiment with by topping one, fimming one, lst'ing one and leaving the other alone. I think the fimmed one is going to be the winner, it has 8 or 10 colas, can't really tell yet. The LST'd one seems like the slowest growing one but I'm messing with it almost daily..

I use cane poles cut to length to thread into the holes of the PVC pipe.
Easier than string I think.

I don't scrog any more but it used to be my forte when I had limited space.

2.5 inch holes. Use twine, string, something like this but the absolute worst is chicken wire.

Check these reads if you plan to scrog.

2x2 galvanised steel is the way to go, i have some good pics of it in my journal.
you can use string and twine but from what i found on the web it will lift up when the plant starts it's stretch & some times it will snap, not good if you don't go in your growroom for a day then find a bud burning on the light.

one thing is making a scrog table other is actual harvest time DO not use steel or plastic you want to be able to chop table up and get plants out of it so use either twine or even kite string evneed everyone seems to go with 2x2 " squares thats just mickey mouse you
need to make a screen min 3" x 3" thus allowing air movement i like to use 4 x 4 squares but then again i make 1 plant cover 5 x 4 scrog area
