Nice man, glad your starting to get everything dialed in. When you spray the plants with neem dont over do it. I doused one plant of mine where the bug problem was coming from and my tent was too warm and I didnt wash off the excess neem and ended up loosing the plant. The reason why is because with the warmth and fast growth of the plant the neem oil covered/clogged the pores on my plant so it was no longer able to take in co2 or oxygen which strangeled it to death. This is one of those occasions where less it better. It alot better to have a plant with a diminishing pest problem rather than a dead plant with no pests.

Also dont forget about pytherin, its expensive and strong and ive never used it before but from everyone ive talked to (at hydro shops, gardening centers and online) has told me its a great product but should be used as a last type of defense. Neem oil or an insecticide soap (Safer is a great brand) is the safer route, I just chose neem oil since its organic and doesnt effect the plants. Other than they smeel a little like neem for a day or two after the application then its gone.

Ok, so is it ok to spray these nasty spidermites while lights or on or do i do it in lights off?

Also, a friend recommended, as well as the hydro store, a product called "Dont Bug Me" from Foxfarm
so i purchased that today, i hear it works great and can be used up to about 3 weeks before harvest. The product contains Pyrethrum, which i hear is awesome at taking on spider mites. So hopefully this is the begining of the end for these little evil creatures!! HAHAHAHAHA!!

Flowering Day 13
I HAVE BABY BUDS!

So today I did a res change, and went with my normal routines of cleaning everything intensely. gave the roots a water and H2O2 bath, even though the rot isnt bad, still making sure it stays GONE.
I also sprayed my box for spidermites while the plants were out of there.

I figure as long as i change my res about every 7 days everything should keep going good now. The water temp is staying down at about 65-70. once it starts passing the amount of time i should change it i can tell that the rot has much for of a chance in returning.

The bogglegum has nice bright new roots, so im expecting it to really finally start picking back up. its still kind of sad, but i think after this change out today it'll start growing like crazy. it had shown to be a real agressive grower in the begining so i hope it comes back with fury!

The hindu skunk is really showing my some nice baby flowers

(see pics) and is continuing to do well. its really getting big, i have her opened up via LST so i have quite a few big tops on it, i think some of the side ones are gonna surpass the main cola! haha. mostly even canopy.
I'm working with spray for the spider mites and also manually killing them. so far thats going good.

my change out went as follows:

10 Gallons tap water
2 tablespoons per gallon H2O2
7.5ml Per Gallon Pure Blend Pro Grow (cutting back on this)
15ml Per Gallon Pure Blend Pro Bloom (soil formula low in N which is why im using the grow still, but i hear using this especially in flowering is really good High in P and K)
5ml Per Gallon Cal Mag PLUS
8ml Per Gallon Hygrozyme

Lights on RT: 75-80F
Lights off RT: 68F
Res. Temp 65F

PH 6.0 (i guess nutes are ph stable, i only changed the res an hour ago, so i will see how it starts to swing)

So, i was out of town for a few days
i come back to find that the spidermites on the bogglegum have gotton really bad, well on the hindu not so bad.
i may just scrap the boggle
it has nice new roots but the mites are keeping growth down.

more bad news....
the hindu skunk (which had a huge mass of nice new roots)
now has the root rot on the roots quite a bit. not really bad, i may be able to manage it.
if not then i may just start over very soon.

Hey ads. Congrats on the baby buds. But i think i can help your grow

first of all. don't scrap just cause of spider mites. if your going to scrap , scrap them both . once your plant has a few, it'll only be days before they multiply exponentially. sorry i don't konw of a way to get rid of them, but there has to be a way KEEP TRYING. you put too much work into this to throw it away over something you can just squish inbetween your fingers. maybe just get really high, sit down and squish them all . lol

anyways. about the root rot. i've heard good things about using H2O2. Look into it.

well i forgot to mention the actual good buds now. not just baby anymore. starting to grow and even have some frost

well the mites were baddd on the bogglegum before. and now they have webs and all since i wasnt here to manage. and it caused the boggle to wilt a little bit.
ive been using spray neem extract/pyrtherum. for the mites, i dont know how well i can manage them anymore on the boggle, which was already in semi poor health, but on the rebound.

ive been using h2o2 since 1st signs of rot
then i had NO rot for a good while but now its back, so im hopeing just to battle it. yet again, full force.

absolutely! don't give up. rmember you just gotta keep these babies alive for another months. bugs or no bugs, healthy roots or black ones. free bud is free bud. maybe good for hash?

well the boggle hasnt much buds really, since it was struggling. but the hindu
mmmmm its got some nicebomb smelling stuff already lol
and they are just little buds. hhaha

trust me im not giving up without a fight.
especially on the hindu. haha

if all fails, i will instantly start over. except in bubblebuckets.
itll just push my harvest back a few weeks.

Yeah If you do start over, have a plant or two in soil. SO much less work and you'll have a solid backup plan(t).

i dont have a place to put them is my problem. right now my grow plan is finish these 2 in dec.
then start 2 new ones in buckets in jan.
in feb im start a few outside on my balcony i think. ima build a lil green house i think.
thats gonna be soil.
but inside idk where how id do that
i really wish i can keep a mother plant somewhere. i may expant my box to half the size of my closet. idk yet.

GOONie is right. "there is no point in adding H2O2 to your water because that is just killing the beneficial bacterium in the hygrozyme. H2O2 is a sterilizer which means it kills everything, good and bad."
I had the same thing happen to me, complete root rot in two days starting on week 7 of flower. Most of the fan leaves were laying vertical against the plants.

I flushed the system, then poured 1gallon over each root ball to knock off the dead roots. Next they went into the changing tub to dry while I scrubbed. Only tap water, a scrub brush, and a lot of elbow grease on the container, airstone, powerhead, 6way diverter, and rubbed down the tubing as well. ZERO bleach, ZERO H202, and ZERO detergent.
Hygrozyme, Sensizym, added another 5" bubble disk, plus my normal 7gal with full nutes and the next day the ladies were up reaching for the light. If you use a power head on a timer you won't need as much water in the tubs and the falling water also aerorates the water. By just covering the power head w/1-2" of water means I use less nutes. I only keep 7 gal in a 30 gal tub, and 5 in a 10gal.
I started with Botanicare and used Liquid Karma. Freaked when the roots turned black, at the next water change my pump and lines were completely clogged. I still have it but it's not going in my tubs. Switched to yellowbottles.com which I love but's pretty pricey.

I agree with Littleman, expand your grow! At least put a little mommy in a bubblebucket. Rumpleforeskin has a good guide on BB's.
