Grassman's Continuous Grow 400

My first official post...

I had a lil bit of problems so far.. to start of this plant was kinda a mutant. Instead of growing with 2 nodes coming out at a time it produced 3 at a time (tell me it that makes sense.. i'm kinda stoned) either way everything went fine all the way up untill half way through flowering then the tops of the buds started stretchin as you can see in the pictures..

I think a couple of things could have caused the buds to stretch so bad..
first is heat .. the canapy heat level was almost 90 when i checked it so i rigged a awesome fan to go right across the top and lowered the temp down to low 80's.. If it wasn't the heat then maybe just the genetics are shitty (it is just bagseed and a mutant from the start).. Also there was a little bit of a light leak.. I think it could be any of those reasons or all of them plus some.. what do you all think?

Also those yellow spots on the leaves possibly heat stress?? or is it a fuck up with nutrients?

One more question.. for all of you who use a 400w hps.. how far do you keep your lights from the plants... my first time using something other than cfl and i think i got it right but i wanna check

Thanks for all the help guys.. feels great to be back!!! PEACE

Re: Grassman's Continuous Grow 400

well.. I have started germinating 5 more seeds of unknown strain. but atleast they are supposed to be the same strain..

maybe i should of thrown my journal on the indoor grow portion.. i havn't been on since this change in grow journal section to advanced, indoor, and outdoor... seems like more people are watchin that.

Keep your 400watt lite at about 16 to 18 in. Solve your light leek and that should help ya keep the stretch under control. Yellowing could be nutes or PH.
Good luck with your Grow
