Hypeshot Ebb&Flow 432 watts T5

Hello GC , I wanted to get a thread started before the Light switch so without further delay , here is the run down.

-9 Gallon res nuted with 1000 ppm @.7 Of FloraNovaGrow and distilled/Ro water
-5.8-6.2 Ph has been very stable , I do admit we stepped up the nutes over time from an original res of about 250Ppm.
-Our table was orginally built for a 6 site Rockwool tray , But with a little work we managed to rig up a Fill and Drain on the side of the tray. Then We packed it with Hydroton, flooding 15 minutes every 3 hours of lights.

2 Clones , from a Durban Poison Mother , Soon as we get this light filled we will hit 12/12
The rest is very clearly shown , Enjoy

Please feel free to leave comments and questions , I know I left ALOT up in the air.

Nice looking grow Hypeshot, your system looks like it's kickin' ass.......I love the T-5's for vegging, they"re great for keeping your plants bushy. Keep up the good work and be sure to keep a journal so we can see the final outcome.

Re: Hypeshot Ebb&Flow 432 watts T5

howdy Hypeshot. Great lookin setup you have goin. Ill follow the others in complimenting the bushiness. Nice wide leaves too. Gunna be fun to watch bud. You gunna flower with t5's too or what? If so, I'd switch out half the 6500k t5 bulbs for 3000k bulbs. Will give you a much more balanced spectrum. Back when I used all t5's for budding, I used a 50/50 mix with excellent results.

ain't no thread killer. I swear by the things. The light distribution is hard to beat. The lumens are being put out from the whole surface evenly rather then one bulb in the center of the group. Also, heat isn't as much of a factor and by getting the bulbs close to the plants, the buds will develop just as well.

Re: Hypeshot Ebb&Flow 432 watts T5

Thats why we are running T5's , the heat is too much of a problem. I agree with light distribution , this thing is killer. It's an 8 tube , squeezed into the space of a 6 tube, Most 8 tubes are much wider.

Re: Hypeshot Ebb&Flow 432 watts T5

Nice job. I have the 6 tube I use for: starting, veging and cloning. I love the thing.
I cant see why flowering would be a problem with it as long as they are under a foot and half tall.

Good work!!

Re: Hypeshot Ebb&Flow 432 watts T5

Thank you all for stopping by and checking up. These things are growing soo fast , i'm astonished. They suck up about a gallon a day and roughly 150-200ppm after top off. The reason they are soo green is probably because i'm actually useing Floranova's Veg formula because I have heard such great things.

I think we are gonna flip the switch in a day or two , it's gonna be way too packed if we wait much longer . Gonna mix up a fresh res and do the First res dump as well. Updates tommarow.
