man.. everytime i go to a nursery and see those tomato cages i think about picking one up just to try it out.

Yes AW, if you are doing buckets, the cages work perfect as inverted they are the same diameter as the bucket. So easy to attach when the plants are young and train. Probably not as yield enhancing as SCROG, but definitely lets you maximize the bud sites a little easier.

Up til now all mine were grown natural style, no training or topping. After this go around I'll always be doing something like this to eeek out a bit more bud

12/1/08 UPDATE

Ok, got some pics today finally of whats been going on in the closet of joy!

The big momma from page one actually was a WW x Satori..as I found my notes (yippee) and she has since been cut, dried and cured for a week or so and those who have tried it say it's my best yet all around Wish I could try it!!!!

So, on with the pics>>>>>>
Here is a little veg/clone cab I rigged up. I originally had a 250watt cooltube venting into my flower area....but just added a bit too much heat, so dropped down to a 2x55 watt PC fixture and stuck it out on the porch. Not the prettiest thing, but very functional and low key.


Here is an inside shot...just a tray of WW clones rooting: Those are my fancy dancy intake holes on the bottom, and I have an inline fan hidden top right corner.



Here's a f'ed up shot of the light...damn near fell on my ass taking this



And a peek at the fan coming out the back...all in all a very budget minded makeover as the light was only $69.00 at HTG and I already had the fan.


YAY! Time for plant porn!!!

Here are my 3 White Widow from GH fem seed plants in their bucket, DAY 31 FLOWER: first run with them, so still dialing in nutes and see some mag or cal deficiency...but buds are popping right along so I'm not adding anything extra this round.
