fan direction

hey everyone, im groing in my closet and my 400w hps gets really hot so I though the best position for my 1 fan would be to direct it straight towards the light. Is this the best way to use my fan to cool my closet, or should I have the fan work like an exhaust thing??

IF your having heat proplems. You can't be cheap. You will need more fans. Also for now i would put it near the top to exhaust the air, then when you get another fan, put it at the bottom sucking cold air in so it makes a circler motion up to the top. Heat rises

hey I see you have problems with your 400 watter me too my advice to you is too get a vortex blower those are the most expensive but well worth the money and for the fan on the bottom idea thats a good one here is a link for ya http://discount-hydro.com/ventilation.asp the cheap inline fan world work great as the floor fan

Totally agree with you on the Vortex - I love mine. 10 year warranty and relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. I wouldn't buy it there though!!! $230! Fuck that! I bought mine here: http://cgi.ebay.com/VORTEX-high-perf...QQcmdZViewItem for $165. That's almost 60 bucks cheaper!
