I PLANTED SOME SEEDS IN SOIL AFTER I GERMINATED THEM AND put them in a party cup and put them in side a big pot to keep it warm.the next day the soil stank really bad like some thing died in their.i dont know what i did wrong and i tried not putting it in a pot or humidy dome and the top of the dirt was going mold after i left it out on the counter all night.can some one help me please oh i also live in alaska

Wow how long have they been in the soil? Stop watering if you are. Wait till it pops up and is established and you can scrape off the top layer of soil. Maybe there are other remidies for mold but, don't know them right now. Good luck.

If I was you I would go out and get new soil(Don't get any soil with time released ferts I repeat DON'T get any with time released ferts,most of the time it will kill your plants by overfeeding), sounds like you've been overwatering yours and its taken its toll on the soil. Get new soil and replant it in there. A good guide to tell you if you need to water or not is to stick your finger 1/4-1/2 inch into the soil. If its moist dont' water it, if its dry water it. Hope that helped.
