how to make an easy potting soil???

I need to know what would make a nice and easy soil....
in-detail if you can..what materials will i need

The easiest way is to drive to Wal Mart and pick up a 25 lb bag for less than five bucks.

Other than that you need good topsoil or a sandly loam, organic material, and perlite. Then you need to sterilze it with high heat to kill out any fungus spores and noxious weed seeds that may be present.

That helps me out. I've been jealous of not being able to post in the growing section so I'm going to start growing....again. So, the heat thing really makes a difference? Can you just bake it in the oven or what? Will that make my house smell like dirt baking? LOL....sorry, just a little more info....ok, Poppa?

Sweetie I hope you got the message in my post, its easier and cheaper to buy it at walmart than make it yourself. But If you want the directions I'll look them up!

Just go but some regular cheap potting soil at Wal MArt. Its all you really need. Its quicker and cheaper
