smoking and usage

I just started my first grow a couple of days ago. I germinated 2 seeds (strain is lionheart i believe) and transplanted them to miracle grow potting soil, right now they're under 5 cfl's on a 24/7. Going great until I realize that i've overlooked one major detail, temperature. yesterday the outside temp dropped to about 20 farenheit and my grow room (attic) dropped to around 45 and was that cold for probably 24 hours. Today i went and bought a thermometer and a ceramic space heater so i can regulate the temp in there and right now it's up to 65. So i guess i have a three part question for anyone interested:
1. Have I killed my fragile pre-emerged plants or is there still hope?
2. Is a ceramic heater safe to use around plants? there's about 2 feet between it and the pots.
3. what temp should i be trying for here? i was thinking around 70 would be nice.

are youre plants already sproueted if so then make sure you got a fan going up there for fresh air also water ing it correctly and keeping strong lights on it during vegitative/flowering stage will help!!

20degrees is below freezing so its alwayz a possibility that they dead only time can tell

well good news, both plants emerged yesterday and i named them mary and jane (cause i'm hoping they're both females).

optimum temperature is 78*F. You really want to keep it above at least 70.
