A word about the Phototron

This ole man felt the need to share about growing in a Phototron. I've read both good and bad about the machines. Some people trash them some love them big crop growers have no use for them. There are lots of suggestions of how to grow, where to grow and every other minute facet of Marijuana Horticulture. After a solid 36 years of smoking pot and dealing with all the hassles headaches and B.S. of buying pot, I have at last found my solution. I bought my Phototron several years ago and was at last able to use it after our last kid went off to college this fall. In about 110 days I have grown the most wonderful buds,so easily.. No crazy engineering needed, just a safe dark room out of the way of traffic. I'm not growing for profit...just a simple ole man growing some crazy smoke. The Phototron system made it so easy. I checked on the girls twice a day, followed directions of using one nutrient solution, properly administered and BAM ! This shit rocks! Great yield , amazing flavor, kick asss heady high off of random seeds. Those of you having limited space or opportunity...look into the Phototron...sure works for me

ok so i have some questions about it.
1. what exactly is it?
2. how do you use it?
3. how much is it?
4. anything else about it that a newb grower might want to know

The Phototron has been around for years. It is a relatively small, self-contained grow box that has fluoro tubes running up and down the sides all around and I believe in the center as well. Yes they work, but the basic knock against them is that they are very expensive for something so small and that uses fluoros instead of better-yielding HID lighting. Just google the name, you'll get tons of info.

Most serious growers end up opting to adapt or build something themselves -- more space, better grow lighting, and for less money. That's not to say the Phototron is never the right answer, for some I'm sure it is. Certainly sounds like it fits the bill for Puffer.
