hi there,
as you may all notice i am new to this site, i am a 1st time grower and i thought hey i need to sign up to a forum..... so here i am. :)

i have just started my 1st grow, i am growing 3 lowryders under a 125w DUAL SPECTRUM CFL,
they look as tho they have had a good start they are about 7 days from a seed,
THE PROBLEM i am having is heat, now i am kind of doing a stealth grow so open space is a problem for ventilation. from the start they have been in here and it gets between 34-38 degrees C, they seem to be growing okay at the moment, but is there any advice for me? will they indeed die in the end or will they survive?

pleaseee help

IF PHOTOS NEEDED I CAN UPLOAD

many thanks

well first off your going to need more lights than just that to grow three plants...with 3 plants your looking at more around 200w just to let you know.

Now of course with more lights that will be more heat, and 34c is WAY to hot! I dont know Celsius but you want your room to be around 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. To get these temps down is quite simple...your going to need an intake fan and and outtake or exhaust fan.

Now you cant just stick to random sized fans in your grow box and think it will work right. Put your intake near the bottom of your box and the outtake near the top (heat raises). You will also have to make the outtake slightly larger than the intake i think its about 1/5 larger (correct me if im wrong blades)

But hope that helps good luck with the plants

I agree.
1. More ventilation. A fan in the cabinet giving the plants a draught will help, but as mentioned, an exhaust fan is needed.
2. More light.

i would also add a 6" clip on oscillating fan. depending on the temp out side the grow space and the inside area you might be able to get away with just an extraction fan. especially if your space is sealed off. look into vortex type fans. you can find some variants pretty cheap. good luck

You could allow 90 degrees F if you added compressed co2 to your grow. Not only that, but you would have a larger yield.
