hey my plant is probably about two inches tall, i think its about time that i need to put light on it..but i dont have the money for a great light so i just looked around my house and a few old sheds with a bunch of shit in them, i foud a bunch of fishtank lights but those arent too strong...i also found this one light i think may work, its a Head Lamp Conversion Kit for a vehicle lol, the diameter/ dimension is 5-3/4" it is only 60 watts but thats better than no watts, i dont really know how ill rig this to acutally light because it doesnt have any wires or cords so if theres anyone here whos like an electrician help me out lol ill post pics of the ligh

heres a pic of the front of the light next to a lighter so you can tell the size

heres a pic of the back..so hopefully somone can tell me how to rig it to work as a good light

If it has a filament (a coiled wire form one piece of wire to the next) inside it will not gro a plant, thats Incandescent lighting.

If you have 6 bucks goto any department store and pick up a 60W screw in twist compact flourescent bulb.... and stick it in any lamp and get it close to the plant.

That light will not work, but it will burn the plant.

well, my bed is right next to my wall, i have a plug in right under my bed so my plants just sitting there with the lights over it...i got one fishtank lid over it with a 60 watt light in it and i also got a lamp with a 130 watt bulb..hows that?

You Cannot Use Incandesent Bulbs...

Incandescent Is The Regular Round Bulbs You Usually Use In Your House...

Has To Be Flourescent!

Yay my pics came to help again, go to walmart, and buy the bulb that looks like this....

and

They are from General Electrics i think and it will say Simulates natural sunlight on the package, the package is green and also says it gives off the full light spectrum

They are 60w

I bought two of them for $7, at walmart i saw a value pack that had 3 of them for $8, it was back by the car stereos and stuff (super walmart) and i live in indiana dont know if its any different for you....

I bought two 150w CFL's today at Home Depot at $9, this should grow a couple plants. The more watts the better.
