What's A Good Light Source

some people were telling me to use a blacklight and some are telling me to use a strong fluorescent bulb for faster growing

Blacklights for sure do not work, Use 2-3 35W warm/cool compact flourescent bulbs per plant when they are fairly big. But the blacklight is a bad idea, your plant will die with a blacklight.

I agree with astro :P

Best you can get is HPS , but fluoros will be more cost-friendly.
