hey fellow 420 brothers ...and sisters! ok i gotta a closet grow op set up right now. a shop light with two 40 watt flor bulbs. 3 pots with 1 seedling growing in each. soil medium. ok this is my first real attempt at growing. im limited to keeping this inside my closet on my side of the closet. i dont really have the means to upgrade the lighting..as of yet. but i just want to know if this is sufficient or what? im also looking into building a cheap simple hydro sysytem to get away from soil. so far ive got an idea of a rubbermaid bin some net pots or slotted pots, solution(fertilizer), airpump and an airstone. is this feasible? the only reason im growing is because im tired of paying thug wannabes for some lowgrade dirt crap weed thats all stemy and seedy. minneapolis isnt really a place known for its ganja though. so any replies, ideas, solutions, or improvements would be greatly appreciated. peace, love, rise above.

1 if not suffiecient. just spend 200 on a entire 250 wat HPS system.. itll grow like 4 or 5 plants, it pays to do it man. otherwise when ur lpants get big and bud they uh, im a newbie myself but i dont think itll give them what they need to pump up

for $200 bucks you can get a 400w HPS from insidesun (used) but still and yeah your hydro will work......soils better less room for plants but better quality after this grow i'm probly going to switch to soil

If you grow to smoke yourself then stay on soil, commercialy hydro is to be prefered (faster) But weeds grown on soil taste much better.


Comedy Kills is right, invest on a HPS light (400 or better 600 Watts) 200 dollar for a used one is a lot of money but it's worth it. Can't you buy these things on the internet? The lights here are much cheaper, I wonder if they will send it worldwide because it's not illegal, it's for tomato's.
