Hi all, i just started my first indoor grow, in a small box. I'm mostly doing this for fun, but I hope it will give some results any ways:hello:.

This is my setup,
Hasselfors Bloom soil,
Leca stones,
2x36(6500k) tl-l flourocent light, 1x 12 watt clf (for flowering)
3x 30 watt(2700k) 1x 12(2700k)
1 exhauste fan,
and hole in bottom for intake.
100% fem. indica white seed
Got the plant in a cup right now, will move it to a bigger pot later :)

It's been 4 days since i started germinate in wet towel,
is it streching to much ? :P
Looks like this now , my question is
Does it look healthy ? why is the one leave hanging ?

Hope to get some

Stretching waaaay too much man get the light closer. I'm growing an almost completly sativa dominate strain(I think anyway) ahd its half the size of yours barely starting is fourth set of leaves.

So get that light closer. And one of the cotlyodons always stretch from my expirence, but usually its equal with the true leaf growth, so get the light closer homie!

^^ This.

Stick some boxes or dvd cases or anything that will prop your plant up closer to the light man. Like he said, it's stretching way too much.

No problem bro, I've got a grow going right now too. Just one plant as well for a learning experience. You can take a gander if you want, it's the DNA Fem Sharksbreath post. Good luck with yours man.

Nice man, I'll be following on your progress, it's great to follow others ideas and experiments.:)
the plant is about 3 inches from the lights now,(can't get it closer, because of heat. It's about 75-80F where it stands now)..

I'd still get it closer homie, fuck the tempature. I just burned another leaf tip but I caught it after an hour so it aint too bad, but you really want your lights no more than an inch away. Tight nodes now= dense buds later, or so Ive been taught. Closer the lights more it can feed off em, and less it puts work into making stem more into making leaf and saving the energy for flowering

Allright thanks thejuggla, it makes sense that the plant uses to much energi on growing the stern, so I took your advice. It's about 1 mb 1½ inch away from the lights now, and about 86F, but ain't feeling to hot when i place my hand there.

Thanks guys, the help is appreciated:D

Update: my plant has been in the ground for about 9 days now :)
and has been doing fine. But this morning i woke up, the plant looked kind of sketchi. It had 9 hours of darkness this night, because i had to rearrange my timer, and I'm starting 12/12 light now (because off litle space, and I don't have the time)

I think the leaves maybe looking like this because off the heat ? or underwatering ?
Please give your comment on what you think it is :hello:

Hard to tell in the pic, but from my experience, leaves curl when they are too hot (leaves curl up from the center to help evaporate water), lights are left at a strange angle to them (so they curl green-side towards the light), or they have an abrupt change in the light-cycle (like accidentally leaving the light on for 24hrs in the middle of flowering).

Like ThaJuggla said, I'd keep the CFLs as close as possible and check them everyday, adjust as necessary.

Also, get a temp gauge w/ a humidity meter. If the air gets too dry or moist, the leaves could react like that.

It may be a nute problem, but check the simpler things first. *process of elimination*

Okey, thanks for the replies, I did actually change my light circel from 18/6 to 12/12 9 days ago. I don't think it could be a heat problem, the temperature is only about 22-23 celsius (71 fahrenheit). I guess it could be fertilizing problem, I've only givin i nutrients 2 times, (just came home from a sailing trip). I'll try tomorrow to give it more nutrients in the water, :) Also I'm a bit afraid of underwatering, I only give it water when no soil sticks to my finger.

Anyways thanks for the help guys.

here's today update. It looks a bit better today (not the best pictures)

Do you let the soil get COMPLETELY dry before rewatering?? Looks like she's been wet too long.

Are the leaves curled all the time? I had a curl problem and found out that it was due to over watering also they will droop "Kinda looks curled" for about 24hrs after you water them. But if they are curled all the time it may be somthing else. Hope this helps man. It's really depressing when your girls are feeling sick. :(

Dang son you beat me to it...lol. As i was typing my response you posted. Good call.

PS. after reading your post more OP you say it's looking better today i'd be willing to bet it's over watered. Give it another day before you water and if it looks better tomorrow thats your prob thats exactly what happened to me. You should be watering every two to three days at the most.

I've been kind of worrying about if it may be that. I'm watering about 4-5 every day, and no I never let the soil dry completely before watering, think I should do that ? I thought if may be due under fertilizing, thought overwatering showed brown/black marks. But should i try to hold off the water for a bit longer then usual ? :) I did noitice my leaves are hanging more after watering..

Thanks for the replies, will try holding off the watering a bit,
will update in 2-3 days. Cheers :) :hello:
