Ballast and a new lamp
Hi folks, more questions!
I have a 600w set-up that I bought online but I'm thinking that perhaps I should have gone with 1000w and a bigger reflector. Will my ballast handle it and if not, how can I upgrade it? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers

not sure , dont think id take the risk though ...
what i do know is second hand lights dont do too well on ebay lol ... sell it to someone you know if youre gonna sell it .... 600 watt seems to be plenty enough light for alot of people though ... hmm i just thought .. you got the same heat problems i do .. i havent put my 1000 watt up yet but i know its gonna make a stupidly big difference in temps .. last month in all that heat my loft reached 40'c with a 400 watt hps .. just something to bare in mind ... |
