budding?

just a quick question,
is there anyway of telling when your plant is at its peak and mature enough to cut the lights for budding and for the highest potential yield.
and if there isnt, how do you guys no when its time?

erm.......what are you asking???....when do we know when to swich to 12/12 or when do we know when to chop??????

i think he's asking when to swich to 12/12.

if so, it depends alot on how much space you have and how powerfull your lights are.

im pritty sure your asking when do we know when to switch to 12/12......alot of people are restricted with height so they will induce flowering at a 1ft......its something you get used to with time and your knowledge of the strain of plant your growing......a strain that has sativa in it is going to get taller than a indica based plant so you veg the sativa slightly shorter.......some people will use L.S.T.(low.stress.training)during veg to improve on there final harvest......i know i havent completely answerd you Q but its not a Q that can be answerd straight foward....

thanks for that ppl sorry i wasnt very clear bout what i was asking but i was very drunk and high but tetrahydrocanna answer gave me an idea on the hole question iether way.
