salt in water

Hi everyone. I have a water softener which requires bags of salt. Any idea how (if at all) this salt will affect my plants?

Peace

I'm still alive and breathing but I don't live in dirt. Haha. Thank you for the reply.

The water that is after the fact of the conditioner,,,is softened water, filtered through salts and sand, sometimes charcoal,it will not harm plants,,,although you should check the ph of the water,,and always use the cold side of the tap,,never the hot side,,it will have to many deposits, salts, and oxides for consumption..yours or the plants...
