Greenbudz, you're actually going to argue its a wise move to grow 2 plants in a 5 gallon bucket... ? Then you're simply misinformed... just because you have successfully accomplished something, doesn't mean it's not a stupid idea.. And I wish you would take your misinformation elsewhere... In no way, at all, is growing 2 plants in 1 5 gallon bucket more efficient, smarter, wiser, better for the plants, easier, more convenient, than spending $3 and getting 2 5 gallon buckets, you're limiting your root growth by having 2 plants in a 5 gallon bucket, if for any reason there is a problem with one of the plants, you now have a healthy plant with a dying rotting plant rootbound to it, transplanting if neccesary becomes a horrible experience.. I just don't see where you're going or what you're trying to prove... yea sure maybe you grew a couple plants in the same 5 gallon bucket... doesn't mean it was efficient, doesn't mean the plants grew to their full potential, does mean you made a bad choice, and happened to get lucky, or maybe you got unlucky and just didn't know it because you've never grown the correct way.. Talk to anybody who knows what they're talking about and they'll laugh at you when you try to tell them growing 2 plants in 1 5 gallon bucket is smarter than simply using 2 5 gallon buckets.. no how many plants you've "thrown out" ,

because I just don't care.. You can have your opinion, but this is pretty much factual... 5 gallon > 2.5 gallon... not to mention all the other negatives of housing 2 plants so close to each other without being able to easily remove one with out shocking both of them, or killing one of them.. just doesn't make sense.... ![]() Quote:
So next time you retort, please make sure it's to defend your opinion, as without some sort of factual backup... it is nothing more than a stupidly bad idea...

Greenbudz,
My original reply to Misty was simple and to the point. I've been growing for a long time and learned many years ago that it's much simpler to plant in individual containers. The forum that the person was asking the question from was The Absolute Beginners. I assumed that they probably were starting their plants from seed. Half the questions on the forums are here because people got misinformation. It's always best when growing weed, to keep it as simple as possible. You have a lot more success. |

^^ Cool, maybe if you grew them in separate containers you'd be getting close to 1 gram a watt.. please stop giving bad advice now...
