High all, im a beginner at this and I have about 20 plants that are about 3 and a half weeks old and are about half a foot tall with nice dark green leaves, I was told to keep the lights on them 24/0 for about 2 weeks and about a week ago i turned them to 18/6 when Do i put them on 12/12 ???

EDIT: the lights im using are 2 Metal Halide 400 wats

wow thats awesome. im growing only with cfl's and i only have 5 plants about a month old and a couple of them are just about a foot tall. next time i think im going to use a brighter light.

depends on how much room you got....the plants will double in size at least when you swith to 12/12.....so how big do you want them????

obivously he has alot of room if he has 20 plants you can swicth to 12/12 any time after they reach a foot you will also need to get a different light for flowering

My friend is going to let me use 2 of his 1000 watt HPS lights for flowering =)

ya hopefully my mother wont beat my ass when she sees this months power bill LOL, it'll be worth it for her tho when I finally am able to harvest
