Growing in a window?

Can I grow weed in a window?

I have a 3 gallon pot and a bunch of bagseed. I'm just gonna toss the seeds into the soil and see what happens; will anything grow? It will be in a room with 3 regular sized windows and will be in front of one.

yes you can.......did you think of people being able to see your plant though and what time of year is it where you live...

Yes I did.

It's winter, and where the window is only two houses could see the plant. However, branches obscure the view and the houses are too far away to be able to tell if its a marijuana plant or not - the closest house is 30 feet away and the people that live there are recent Asian immigrants who I doubt will recognize it. The other house is so far away you'd need binoculars to see the plant close enough to determine what kind it is, if they can see it at all to begin with which is doubtful.

It's winter right now but my room is very warm; think I can get some grow going?

growing marijuana next to a window gives them lack of light hours, and cuase them to strech and the top leaves then become to heavy for the stem witch it will cuase it to bend... i suggest u get some flourecents bulbs, and grow it under the light, or u can wait for next growing season......

true in many cases shade but i have seen it done my friend....i saw it right here in the city...ive looked for the thread but havent found it yet.... i havent taken a plant all the way like that myself but have started out side grows like that befor i had lights....and had good results......

you are right in most cases though shade...
