early flowering?

is it possible to change the light cycle early and make the plant grow buds early?

btw what light cycle makes plants flower?

i was thinking of growing a small MJ plant, about 1 foot tall (12 inches) and they turning the bud cycle on and maybe it will flower early

Most growers change from 24/0 (veg) or 18/6 (veg) to 12/12 (flower) when their plant is about 12" tall, Then it will be flowering for 8 weeks (depending on strain) and will double or maybe triple in size (depending on strain).
Hope that helps!

You can flower from seed if you want to keep it to 12 inches. 12 hours on and 12 hours off. I've flowered from 2 inches tall, she still ended up 2ft tall or more. When you go to 12x12 there's a BIG stretch, depending on what strain you are growing the stretch can be 1 - 3ft.........12 on and 12 off will produce the better yeild!

wow, i think im going to try what you just said, can anyone confirm if this will acually work?
Because if you flower from seed, wouldn't that drastically decrease the time from seed to harvest? Also if you flower from seed wouldn't the seeds have insuffectient light?

peace
