first time grower

im growing for my first time in israel, ive done all the research on protecting the plant from people and wildlife, an basic growing but i just need some in depth advice from someone who has grown a plant in the same situation ( very hot, it will have to be watered , no rain... stuff like that) im also noy sure on how germinating works and how to deal with what sex it is....
