Well i made a ghetto as hydro setup with some rocks as growing medium that's floating in a coffee can filled with water on Styrofoam. But anyways i germinated some seeds then threw them in here when i first started seeming the root like 2 cm long. But they look like there doing good growing still no leaves yet and the seed part is still on it. I was wondering what i should do for putting nutrients into the water. Ive been sprinkling some soil over the seeds and in the water to see if that would get nutrients to them and it seems like it could be working but im not to sure. Also can u buy nutrients solution for hydroponics in like normal department stores or only hydro stores? Thank you

im not into hydro. but as far as nutes go a seedling has all the nuts it needs in its round leaves.... until they fall off just make sure you maintain and give it fresh water... but im the type of person that basiclly plants and waters but pretty much forgets about the plants.... the less we "intervine" in their purpose in life is when plants start dying.... its a weed.... it grows without our help...

Has anyone seen those ads or infomercials about the hydro-herb garden thing? I can't remember the name of the grower, but it's supposed to grow and maintain a counter-top herb garden for fresh herbs and seasonings.....
I wonder if it would grow our kinda 'herb' worth a crap?

The countertop grower is a aerogarden, good for personal grows with autoflowers, or really any strain as long as you know how to maintain the plant with fimming/topping or LST...I use the aerogarden to grow some autflowers works pretty nicely just can't really do more than 3 plants at a time with MJ..

Hate to break it to you but what your doing doesn't sound like hydro at all. Look into hempy buckets.
