1st time Growing Journal, need advice :D

Well so this is my 1st time trying to make MJ grow and my knowledge is VERY limited. I remembered as a kid we made a bean seed germinated so i used what i recall and also check some stuff on the Net.

I also happened to haver a Chemistry set from when i was younger so i used some of the stuff there to make plant food and stuff.

anyways, ill start form the begining

the 1st pics are of my germination glass.

All i did was put some cotton and add regular tap watter then place the seeds inside and cover them just a little with some extra cotton.

one thing i remeber is that u dont have to add too much water, just enough to make the cotton be moisted and stuff, else the seeds will rott

then i use some plastic foil to seal the mini enviroment and made a few very small holes in it so they can breathe (not sure if the hole making was necessary )

after several days, ill say like a week my plants grew to the point shown in the pics, ill say about 4 inches tall

so next step was to transplant it to a richer soil, or so i decided to :P

so using my chemistry set i made a miracle plant grow and followed the instruction . using a seed tray i place the plants in there so the roots will go throught some small holes it had.

then placed the tray in a glass filled with the nutrient so the roots will absorb it.

so far, so good

and finally im adding some pics of my plant at this moment.

i was trying to guess the sex :P (im a n00b in this remeber?) and i think this all are females, so what do u think? any advice or suggestion will be welcome

oh i keep this in my bathroom window, sso they get a lot of sun light and air and stuff

hows it .......get those plants into a pot each.....more than one plant to a pot is a no no.....laters

thats a very good start plant look good and healthy but now you need to transplant them into different pot tjey grow pretty fast as you can see and they need lot more space then that.

you cant really tell the sex yet...so i dunno what you were basing on but the signs of sexes shows up at preflowering period.

and you should start a grow journal in the grow journal section. that way ppl gonna follow the evolution of your plant and help you through it!

well thanks for the advice so far , i transplanted into single pots each of my plants, now i have 7, so im gonna see how it goes and then pick 2 of them and plant them in my garden sop they can grow fully, i have almost a jungler out there (even palm trees) so it would mostly go unnoticed :P (or so i hope)

I dont really expect to be a profesional grower i just like taking care of a plant that gives u more than just beatifull flower in return

anyways since i was using my webcam to take pics i cant post more pics now till i get a digi, even a crappy one will help i hope, ill keep ya updated

Well it seems like you have an interest in growing so read as much as you can. If I were you I would get your hands on an e-book or a real book then read it front to back, and then read it again. They are essential. From there just browse the community you can learn so much from the growing threads, and the tutorials. It's all so helpfull, it was to me anyways.

So true. I got Ed Rosenthals book off the net, and read it so many times i had it memorized. First grow was going great for me after that. Then I got caught, so it was all for nothing. the biggest thing to remember is stealth, because its better to grow less potent plants in secret than perfect ones and have them get taken by the authorities.
